Glitterbug is a weekly art and craft class for toddlers and young children, providing an ideal opportunity to learn and explore through "messy play".
Each week the children produce art work based on a different theme such as colours or transport and gifts for special occasions e.g. Mothers day or thank you cards.
We run more structured classes for school aged children and school holiday workshop sessions.
We also have a variety of birthday party packages available for children aged 3 - 10 years.
Learning Opportunities
Children learn about themselves and the world around them through play, especially through hands on experiences in activities such as art and craft. It is important to avoid the idea that getting messy is naughty and instead concentrate on ways to keep the mess within limits which is difficult in the home….
Hand prints look great on paper but not so fantastic on your new curtains… which is where Glitterbug comes in!
